Installing Cosindra

The desktop app (currently v1.3.0) is a free download and installs in under a minute. It bundles everything — the AI assistant, the local bridge to your editor, and the UE plugin installer — so there is nothing else to set up by hand.

Windows (10 or newer)

  1. Download the installer from the download page.
  2. Run Cosindra-1.3.0-Setup.exe.
  3. If Windows shows a “Windows protected your PC” (SmartScreen) notice: the installer is not yet code-signed, so this caution is expected for now. Click More info, then Run anyway. Installers are only ever served from cosindra.ai.
  4. Launch Cosindra and sign in (or create a free account).

macOS (12 or newer, Apple Silicon)

  1. Download the .dmg from the download page.
  2. Open it and drag Cosindra into Applications.
  3. Launch and sign in. The build is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so no security override is needed.

Updates

Cosindra checks for updates automatically, downloads them in the background, and applies them the next time the app starts — you never re-download manually. What each version brought is in the changelog.
