WorldWeaver
UE5 World Generator
WorldWeaver — AI World Building for Unreal Engine 5
Describe a place — a misty alpine valley, a desert canyon at dusk, a dense forest clearing — and WorldWeaver builds it in your Unreal Engine project: sculpted landscape, scattered foliage, placed features, and a matching sky and atmosphere. Works with UE 5.7–5.8.
It generates a complete scene plan — terrain heightmap, vegetation layers, point-of-interest placement, lighting and post-process mood — then applies it through the Cosindra desktop app and its native UE plugin. Toggle terrain, features, and vegetation independently to preview each layer.
Start from a preset or write your own prompt. Iterate until the world matches what you pictured, without hand-placing a single asset.
Building by hand instead? Read the UE5 environment guides — layer-by-layer walkthroughs of forests, canyons, islands, swamps and six more settings.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does WorldWeaver generate?
A complete terrain: an eroded heightmap (hydraulic + thermal simulation), carved rivers and lake basins, biome-matched coloring, vegetation placement, and lighting/atmosphere settings — previewed in 3D in your browser before anything touches your project.
Is the 3D preview what I actually get in Unreal Engine?
Yes — the preview renders the exact heightmap the apply script builds from, at the same height scale and with the same color rules. What you see is what gets built.
Can I get a real, sculptable UE Landscape?
Yes. The Landscape Pack download contains a 16-bit heightmap at UE-legal import resolution plus slope/height weightmasks and a README with the exact import values. Import it with UE’s own Landscape tool — no plugins needed. The same PNG works in Unity, Godot and Blender.
Does the one-click Apply need anything installed?
Apply in UE5 uses the free Cosindra desktop app, builds the world in a fresh sandbox level, and never touches your own maps. Downloading the Python script or the Landscape Pack works without the app.
Can I iterate on a world without losing it?
Yes — refine with follow-up prompts (the base terrain keeps its seed, so it stays put), revert one step, and Save & Share gives any world a permanent public page.
