Is Cosindra free to download?
Yes. The desktop app is a free download, and every account starts on a free tier with monthly credits. Paid plans add more credits and features — see the pricing page for details.
Why does Windows show a "Windows protected your PC" (SmartScreen) notice?
The Windows installer is not yet code-signed, so SmartScreen shows its standard caution for new publishers. The installer is only ever served from cosindra.ai. To proceed, click "More info", then "Run anyway". macOS builds are signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so no equivalent warning appears there.
Which Unreal Engine versions are supported?
Unreal Engine 5.7 and 5.8. When you select a project, the app detects its engine version and injects the matching CosindraMCP plugin automatically — no manual plugin install.
Does it run on Apple Silicon Macs?
Yes — the macOS build is native for Apple Silicon and requires macOS 12 or newer.
Do I need the desktop app to use the web tools?
No. BlueprintStudio, WorldWeaver, MaterialForge, RigMaster and LaunchKit all run in the browser. The desktop app is what applies generated results into your open Unreal editor and hosts the full AI assistant.
How do updates work?
The app checks for updates automatically, downloads them in the background, and applies them on the next restart — no manual re-download needed. The changelog lists what each version brought.
