Unity game jam 2026: what exports to Unity, and your first month of Pro for $5

The Official 2026 Unity Game Jam reveals its theme on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 17:00 UTC, and the deadline is Saturday, November 14, 2026, 12:00 UTC. Start Pro for $5 for your first month and use it for the whole jam week. After that it is $29 a month, and you can cancel anytime before the next payment.

Cosindra goes deepest in Unreal, so this page lists only what reaches a Unity project today: three workspaces whose results you download and import. Everything else is left out of the offer below.

Just trying things out? Starter is free with no card, and a new account has 80 credits in its first month.

Jam offer

What Pro includes for a Unity jam

$5 for your first month, then $29 a month. Cancel anytime.

  • Downloads: Unity downloads of your worlds, materials and rigs, with no Starter download limit
  • WorldWeaver and MaterialForge: The Pro Engine option for higher quality results
  • MaterialForge: Material Packs of 2 to 8 matching materials, which download in the same Unity formats
  • Credits: 500 credits every month

Checking your account

What exports to Unity today

  • WorldWeaver: Terrain from a written brief, 6 credits a world (Brief Check is free). Choose Download, Unity for a ZIP whose world.glb imports with Unity's glTFast package; its optional Native folder adds an Editor menu that makes sculptable Unity terrain.
  • MaterialForge: A material from a description, 4 credits each, and adjusting it afterwards is free. The Unity HDRP set has an OpenGL normal map and a packed mask map, and it is made for HDRP only. For URP or the Built-in pipeline, download the OpenGL maps instead.
  • RigMaster: Upload your humanoid GLB, place 18 joint markers and get a rig for 15 credits, with 5 free polish rounds. The rig is converted to a Mixamo-named FBX for Unity. Unity's automatic Humanoid mapping is not yet tested on it, so check the avatar's bone mapping after import before you build on it.

Not for Unity

  • MotionSmith has no Unity export yet.
  • BlueprintStudio writes Unreal Blueprint graphs only.
  • Cosindra Desktop connects to Unreal Engine 5.7 and 5.8 only, not to the Unity editor.

What the jam rules say about tools and assets

Quoted from the jam page and its Official Rules, read on November 1, 2026. The rules are what count, and nothing here is legal advice.

  • Assets you did not make: "You may use your own pre-existing code, tools, and libraries, and any assets (your own, purchased, free, or created during the Contest), provided that you hold all rights necessary to use and distribute everything included in your Entry and you credit all third-party sources on your submission page." (section 7)
  • Generated content: "Generative AI may be used for any part of a submission, provided it is disclosed on the submission page. You must describe how it was used during your submission process. Failure to disclose the use of Generative AI in your submission will disqualify you from the prize categories."
  • The disclosure: an entry must include "If generative artificial intelligence tools were used to create any part of the Entry, a disclosure on the submission page describing which tools were used and how" (section 7(d)), and you must have "any rights required under the terms of any generative artificial intelligence tool used" (section 8(f)).
  • Your submission page should include "a playable build, a short description, controls, a credit list for all assets, and your team members." For assets you did not make, "please confirm licensing and use limitations before use, and credit asset authors in your project."
  • Judging: "handmade, purchased, or generated all score the same way" (the Art & Audio Coherence criterion).

The Unity jam guide has the dates, who can enter, a disclosure paragraph to paste and prompts to copy.

How the offer works

  • Your first month of Pro is $5. After that, Pro renews at the normal $29 a month.
  • Cancel anytime in Account, Billing. You keep Pro to the end of the month you paid for, and nothing more is charged.
  • Pro starts as soon as the payment goes through, with 500 credits for the month.
  • The lower first month is applied at checkout for you. There is no code to type.
  • One per account, for accounts that have not paid for a plan or credits before.
  • Already on the free Pro trial or a paid plan? You have Pro or more, so there is nothing to do.

It is the same offer as on the jam offer page, once per account whichever page you start it from.
