Start with a model that can be fitted.
Prepare a clear humanoid mesh and check the uploaded model before placing markers.

Use a supported source
The upload control accepts GLB or GLTF. Use a self-contained GLB where possible so the model does not depend on missing companion files. Follow the size limit shown by the uploader.
Only upload a model you have permission to process. RigMaster is for humanoid character fitting, not arbitrary props or creature skeletons.
Check the pose and silhouette
Separate arms from the torso and keep legs and fingers reasonably clear of each other. Closed hands, intersecting limbs and unusual proportions can make fitting and skinning harder.
Inspect orientation and scale in the viewer. Correct source geometry when a placement warning cannot be resolved by moving a marker.
Move on to marker placement
Confirm you are viewing the intended source before placing joints. A replacement upload is a new source; do not assume old markers fit it.
